Here's the story: I was installing the Future Craft (Powercraft) mod with Forge already installed. I moved the files into my mods folder in .minecraft. I then wanted to get to %appdata% faster, so I typed in %appdata% into the start bar. I moved the .minecraft folder onto my home screen. I opened Minecraft, but all my worlds were gone and so was Forge (it was working before I moved .minecraft. I closed Minecraft and went to the .minecraft folder on my home screen. Perfectly fine. I went to the one in %appdata%. ALMOST EVERYTHING WAS GONE!!! I copied all the stuff in the .minecraft folder on the home screen into the one in %appdata%. All my worlds were back, but Forge was still missing. I moved all the things in the Forge ZIP file thingy into my minecraft jar again (Without moving my mods folder. I'm suspecting this was what caused the problem, but not the "no worlds" one) and started Minecraft again. It froze on the "Uploading Minecraft" page while something from Forge was supposed to say, "Moving files...". I kept on moving all the things in the Forge ZIP file thingy into my minecraft jar again and again and kept starting Minecraft again and again. Still froze on the "Uploading Minecraft" page again and again.
Conclusion: I AM BEGGING FOR HELP!!!!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!

Retired StaffIf you have Win 7, maybe Vista (idk about vista i skipped it)
You can use previous version to restore it.
Do the %appdata% thing again, but right click on the .minecraft folder.
and go to this tab:
Pick an earlier version, before you messed it up, and restore

Retired StaffSorry. I don't get to be facetious often, but I did mention it before you posted asking. =)
