I'm trying to figure out how to use mods and I have not been able to understsand the directions that are on the download sites. I would much appreciate if someone could give clear and direct instructions for downloading the Gulliver mod (mod loader and the mod itself) onto a 2.0 dual core macbook. The minecraft version I have is 1.4.2.
Every attempt I make ends up with a black screen and the program fails. I have tried manually replacing the minecraft.jar files, zip it, and replace it. Thanks for any help you can give.
Gulliver is still at Minecraft 1.3.2, so it's not going to work with your Minecraft 1.4.2. You'll either have to wait for the mod to update or else downgrade to Minecraft 1.3.2 in order to play with it.
