Yesterday I went and updated all my out-of-date mods, I did this through Magic Launcher loading them all through there and then testing to see if Minecraft worked. It did not, the PB Craft loading screening popped up for a few seconds then the screen went black. In the main area where you add mods to Magic Launcher Forge stats it has 1 error, and it says this no matter where I move it in the list, Risugami's AudioMod also get unhappy when Forge is placed above it and shows it has 5 errors. Everything else has the big OK and Minecraft doesn't crash just leaves me at a blackened screen.
Now toay I tried MCPatcher, I ordered the mods in a similar fashion to that of Magic Launcher and a pop-up showed saying that with this mod that mod will overwrite this and blah blah blah, nothing I really understood but I hit ok anyways and tested and the same thing happened. So I'm at a lost here as I don't know much about modding or reading the logs I get when something gies wrong, help?
I have the logs from both MCPatcher and Magic Launcher (listed below) and would appreciate any help anyone is willing to provide it.
It seems like an incompatibility issue, when two mods edit one class, they conflict and minecraft crashes. Try taking away one mod, and readding it. Then take another one away, and keep doing it until you find out which one it is. (if you fix the links I can help more).
The arrows mod, is calling a modloader hook that it can't find. The development staff of FML may have added it in, in the more recent version of FML. If that doesn't fix it, you have found one of the mods that is written for modloader that won't run on forge. (Seeing as the Arrows mod is by the creator of modloader this is a possibility) Forge and Modloader are incompatible with each other so you may need to eliminate Arrows mod if it doesn't work with the latest forge for 1.4.2
