I have a problem in my minecraft client where entities such as mobs and NPCs are showing really dark. This is really annoying because I just bought a RAM upgrade recently so I can play minecraft without crashing. Sometimes the problem doesn't show up if I restart but it is still annoying enough. I have an HP Media Center PC m470n model with Intel Pentium 4 processor (3.00GHz) with Radeon 9200 series graphics and 2GB of RAM (full capacity AFAIK). I also have Optifine installed with modloader and Rei's Minimap. I am quite sure I have the latest drivers but fe0el free to point me in the right direction.

Yes. This does happen without mods and texture packs.

I have also figured out if I drink a Potion of Night Vision, it fixes the problem a bit. But how many of those could you have laying around to spare?
