I have just put minecraft forge in the .jar and i run on windows 7 ultimint and says when i log in it gose to the updating screen and says done loading but will not load the home screen.
Forge is currently at 6.0.1 for Minecraft 1.4.2 http://www.minecraft...pic,2968.0.html
1. Start with a new MC jar. 2. Delete meta-inf
3. Copy over forge files
4. Run mc once.
5. Close mc,
6. Read the mod installation instructions carefully.
7. Install mods in %appdata%\.minecraft\mods OR %appdata%\.minecraft\coremods
8. Run and play?
In case you wish to try installing again while waiting for a reply for the error log analysis.

located in the minecraft folder.
You can open it in a text editor (wordpad or notepad)
If it isn't, then I'll need you to run the advanced error logger from this thread.
