Several MC users have found that they can not create a world with the seed "IvanTheBlue" which is -227356463 according to Amidst.
Amidst, by the way, will create a map for this world using either version of the seed.
When trying to create a world with either of those seeds MC locks up with "Loading World" "Converting World" the only things displayed.
This is the crash report with the latest version of MCPatcher installed and the latest version of HerrSommer texture pack on my machine.

Question: What files need to be changed to back out of an MCPatcher mod installation?
More than just minecraft.jar?
EDIT: seven hours later - In the thread mentioned (linked) above the person that was getting that seed to work has found it does NOT work on his machine in "default" mode. It does, however, work in "large biomes" mode.
There are no dangerous weapons. There are only dangerous people. R.A. Heinlein
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
You can wait for a snapshot or update to MC or you can CAREFULLY replace the ye.class file in your minecraft.jar file.

See: http://www.minecraft...-minecraft-142/
As you can see not everyone is having the problem.

If you have questions about the maps I post as attachments or Amidst and the like read this thread:

ModeratorSee: https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-767
There are several seeds that cause this problem.
You can wait for a snapshot or update to MC or you can CAREFULLY replace the ye.class file in your minecraft.jar file.
