Every time put away a map or hang it up, if I leave the map's area and then take it back out/go back to where I hung it, it will have gone completely blank except for the little arrow showing my location. Then I have to waste resources making a new one because the old one's useless.
Only mods I've got are mcPatcher and Too Many Items, but I've got no idea if the bug is in any way related to them.
Well this is interesting. Through a bit of experimentation I discovered that the solution is almost exactly the opposite of what you were suggesting. With MCpatcher alone, I have no problem. With TooManyItems alone I have a different probably unrelated problem. Only when I use MCpatcher and TooManyItems together does the problem (not the second unrelated one though) appear but when I install TooManyItems using MCpatcher the problem goes away.
Thanks for putting me on the right path, even if the destination was at a different end of it than you thought.
Hopefully I don't run into any other complications when I start installing other mods.
