I hope I'm doing this right. I'm new here, so if this is wrong or something please cut me some slack. Anyway, two or three nights ago I downloaded Mermz's car mod, http://www.minecraft...he-car-mod-v22/, and after 10 or so minutes I would get the memory error crash. After about twenty crashes I decided to uninstall it and see if that was the cause and it was. Today I reinstalled it and got the same crash again. I tried clearing ram, I changed a runtime parameter, and when those two didn't work, I followed this qoute.
1. Start Button -> Control Panel -> System
2. Click "Advanced System Settings"
3. In "Advanced" tab, click "Environment Variables"
4. Under "System Variables", click "New"
5. For Variable Name, type "_JAVA_OPTIONS" (note the leading underscore)
6. For Variable Value, type "-Xmx2048M -Xms1024M"
7. Start minecraft, press F3, and look in the upper-right corner to see memory allocated is in fact accurate.
8. YOU'RE WELCOME.
Now, I can't even open MC. I get this: Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
I can't undo any of that either. I tried just deleting the variable name and value but when I deleted the two lines I couldn't click ok to continue as when I entered it the first time.
So what do I do? I can't think of any possible ways to fix what's been done.
