I've got a question for you all.
So.. I want to know if there's a way to load single player chunks fairly quickly. Please don't tell me to install OptiFine, because that's what I'm currently using, and it obviously isn't working. Otherwise I wouldn't be asking this..
Anyhow, I'd upload a picture of what I'm talking about; but ScreenSnapr is down at the moment.
I'll try to explain what I mean.
Ex. You spawn, and you can only see a few chunks ahead of you. Then you walk a bit, and randomly chunks start loading? So these far away landscapes, mountians, hills, trees, etc, you cannot see until you actually walk into them..
I have OptiFine set so that when you're at a standstil it loads chunks fine. So say I press Escape, mostly all the chunks in 'Far' range load! But only if I press escape.
This is honestly just so frustrating.. So thank you to any posts. Also, if needed- here's my computer sepcifications. CPU: i7-3770k VideoCard: HD Radeon 7970 3Gb RAM: 32Gb GSkill
Have you tried allocating more memory to Java? Not really sure if that would help, but you could play around with it a little. Some people say it helps, some people say it doesn't. Worth a shot maybe.
