How do I fix this? My meager skills tell me that I installed something and it conflicted with another mod I had?

Yes, I found that out, but how exactly do I do that?

Hi -- My son is having the same issue: It's crashing upon launch. This only started recently after downloading his first mods. The first four mods he did were still working fine, but it must be the last one that has a problem. But our problem is, we have no idea how or where to fix anything. I don't see anything "Minecraft" saved on my PC, so where exactly are these files housed? It seems we need to remove the last mod he downloaded. We're new to this. Be nice to us. :-) Can you help?

Just so you know I'm not a complete bonehead, I work for IBM coding and publishing pages. But this Minecraft stuff is bizarre. Why is there no Minecraft saved on my computer in Program Files? Shouldn't it be there?

Afraid you're gonna hafta dumb it down a bit more. Where do I go to find %APPDATA%/.minecraft? Not on my C drive, evidently.
