Before I go in depth, I'd like to apologise in advance if this is the incorrect thread. I'm not all too sure about which one to ask this in.
So I attempted to install Nethercraft, with the mighty CavemanFilms as a guide (with his YouTube video), when I somehow messed up. I'm completely unsure where it could have happened, as I followed the directions carefully, but sadly, whenever I try to even log on to Minecraft, after clicking the "login" button, the screen either goes black, or shows an unmoving loading bar followed by black. If there's any way to fix this - I don't even need the mod itself, just to log on to Minecraft - Then please tell me.
did you install the mod to the current version of minecraft (1.3.2)?
looking on the mod forum page the mod isn't updated yet and is for 1.2.5, that might be the issue.
to revert back (remove the mod), on the login screen click the options button, then click force update, then login, this will re-download the minecraft files and remove any mods.
next i would suggest you download multimc.
then you can create an instance, login to get the file.
right click the instance and select downgrade, select 1.2.5 from the list (this uses MCNostalgia and is safe)
then use the edit mods feature to install the mods (add both modloader and the mod zip to the jar mods tab)
lastly, load minecraft with multimc and enjoy the game in 1.2.5 with the mod you wanted
