Hi, I have just installed Optifine using the directions on their page. I'm running stock minecraft with the exception of magic launcher 0.99. I start minecraft and it'll load my world (slowly i might add) then crash with the crash report down below. I'm also using the LB Photo Realism Texture pack but I don't think that is the issue because it crashed when I used default as well. Thanks for help in advance!

While you should've posted this there, I'll still help.
It seems your using MCPatcher, or Magic Launcher uses MCPatcher. The problem is RandomMobs, and is being caused by MC Patcher.
I dont know what to do, so I'd go post in the thread.
I'd say that the slow-loading problem is almost certainly related to your texture pack. So that may be a separate problem from the crashing itself. Your error report is calling out MCPatcher and a mob randomizer, which is sometimes a feature included in the texture pack. That would point (again) to your textures.
Try removing the texture pack from your textures directory (just temporarily) and start up MC and see if it works OK. A texture pack can cause problems even if you aren't actively using it.
Otherwise, double check IwinFTW's advice above me, that's the first thing I'd check.
i mean that the world is just sky, almost like skyblock, but without the skyblock
LAN lag. BTW, optifine is being buggy for me at the moment too, non-vanilla items such as ones from the portalgun mod are all screwed up when I use optifine. The actual gun will look like a leather cap.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
To all of you people who think Notch is still working on the game, he stopped working on Minecraft in late 2011. Get your facts straight and stop spamming his twitter about Minecraft updates.
Optifine seems to be working perfectly for me so for all of you I would suggest getting a new minecraft.jar and only putting Optifine on it and test it like that because a lot of big mods are incompatible such as mod-loader. Also make sure you are using the version of Optifine most appropriate for your system. Some Optifine settings require you to modify your graphics card settings. My brother had that problem and I disabled threading or something and it worked a lot better.

Retired StaffIt seems your using MCPatcher, or Magic Launcher uses MCPatcher. The problem is RandomMobs, and is being caused by MC Patcher.
I dont know what to do, so I'd go post in the thread.
Sorry D:
Try removing the texture pack from your textures directory (just temporarily) and start up MC and see if it works OK. A texture pack can cause problems even if you aren't actively using it.

Please post in the OptiFine thread:

also you should check out Tall Worlds

Curse PremiumWhat do you mean by "I Can't see crap"?
