After recently coming back to MC I installed the latest HD patcher on my PC the framerate has gone really strange, my PC is quite new (only about 4months old) and about 2 months ago was running MC with Sphax 512x Texture pack smooth as silk on a constant 150 fps.
Now I am trying to run 32x John Smith with difficulties after updating.
The problem is its still running the constant 150 fps most of the time but in every 5min period im playing 1minuite is running at 11fps... then it clicks back to 150fps for the next 4 mins before going back into 11 fps.
Really not sure whats causing it
I have completely removed MC and the patcher from my PC and started fresh and its still occurring, i updated my graphics card driver and that hasn't fixed it either.
What does fix it is using the default skin (even with the HD patcher installed) but as soon as I change to any other texture pack else bam every 5 mins I get that annoying slow framerate - Also what fixes it is removing the HD Patcher and playing without it.. but both options are annoying and I want to get to the bottom of why it's happening.
I got it from here It's the same page/patcher I had been using for years now
and it's the MCPatcher though it seems to be crossed off and its download link has stopped working.
I'll just try Optifine Thanks
