So, today, I was happily playing minecraft; I updated to the new snapshot to try it out. Well, everything was running perfectly smooth. Played for about an hour, got tired, saved, got off, and played Guild Wars 2. Well, a couple hours later, I tried to get on again...but...my world wouldn't load. This message popped up. Then, I got worried "crap, did my world get corrupted?? sad face :(" so I tried making another world to test this. That same made-from-scratch world got the same message. Note: I did use the Minecraft Texture patcher mcpatcher-2.3.7_01 to patch my game before playing. Could that have caused this?
Please, any and all help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I don't think any mods currently support the new snapshot unless they explicitly say somewhere that they have a version for it. From what I can see, you're running a snapshot version that's newer than the MCpatcher mod you have. Your MCpatcher is for Minecraft 1.2.5/12w23b and was not meant to work with your snapshot version as far as I know.
Hm, interdasting. Is there an MCPatcher out there that can support the new snapshot?
The latest one I was able to google for would be for 1.3.2. Depending on the modder, some might push an update to support the new snapshot, but a lot of modders don't. From what I understand of coding, it takes a long time and the snapshots come out too frequently to catch up with, especially if one's coding something complex.
Im pretty sure MCPatcher doesn't support the snapshots. ( I wouldn't use sites like minemine.org or anything, I stick to MCF/PMC. )
The only mod I've seen frequently updated is TooManyItems, so if you want a mod, I'd go with that.
I've also seen this era with many of the new snapshots, so its not just you.
I'll look into it.
Alright, I think I got it working; I just "unpatched" with my mcpatcher and downloaded the snapshot now everything is a-ok. But, now another problem has arisen. I use the Adventure Time Texture Pack (no mod, no nothing) but, now half of the textures are messed up or missing. Is this the result of "unpatching" or the snapshot?
Well, I did some research and found that the MCPatcher that I am running is indeed compatible with this snapshot. But, for whatever reason, it isn't working. I want to try out this snapshot badly, but I also want to be able to switch between my texture packs without hassle.
