Hey can you tell me the best and fastest way to get iron? i'm always in short supply and all i ever do is mine, mine, mine... by the way would you take about 3 seconds and click this picture? thanks a million!
sorry to bother you as it is probably a stupid question, but its bothering me and id like to know...
Hey i bought premium, how long do i keep it for and what do i get? Whats the whole catch?
• First, congratulations on buying the game, you're one step closer to supporting Minecraft, secondly you will always keep the premium, you buy it now you keep it forever. If something goes wrong, it must be a glitch and just contact Notch. Check elsewhere if you feel as if something isn't right though, it may be global!
•• When you buy the game, you also gain access to future game modes, and special premium features like /Indev/ and /infdev/ and the upcoming titles like Dungeons and Zombie Siege, or whatever Notch has in store for minecraft! You bought the game, you get THE game.
I just read this on Minepedia:
"As well as some minor updates, the transition from Alpha saw a 50% price increase (therefore making the cost 25% off the full price), a change in the disclaimer (Notch removed the line that said "all future updates will be provided free of charge")"
does this mean i wont get all future updates free?
thanks in advanced

depends, did you brought the game before beta was announced or after?
if you did buy the game before, the account is considered as an "alpha" account so all future updates and expansions will be included.
if you brought the game after beta was announced and the above policy changed, then you will get all future updates to the official release version and that is all you get.

I think I flooded the map with glowstone via BC, IC and EE
You mean the same problem as me? If so (and if not, others can try it) when your playing the game and are going to quit, hit the Escape key to bring up a menu. Hit the 'save and go back to title' button and you should have all of your saved data when you click out of the game.
This let me keep my data from my saved game but it also sent me another error report. I went back and checked to make sure and I still had everything where I left it. I believe it should work for others.

I am the rare reclusive teenager that refuses to be dominated by Facebook.
Someone help me out fast. I tried to buy minecraft with a visa card with a US account and it came up with an error saying VerifyEasy error. Epected parameters missing: data currency. HELP!!!!!!!
i donno if this fits in here, but if i delete the contents of my bin folder and re-download the files will that give me a clean minecraft.jar file? and wouldn't that be better than backing up files?
According to that very page, it's 49, and even not counting standard unbuildables it's 42. Unless you're further condensing the 16 cloth colors... in which case, it's 27. Editing time.
Guys i have a problem with my mouse cursor, when i head over to my chest or title screen and i want to click or pick something from the chest or menu... While moving my cursor flashes and disappears then when i move it again, it reappears with the same problem flashing and disappearing... ITS REALLY ANNOYING :sad.gif:

What does this really mean?
Do I need to pay for updates after the game goes gold/final?
Help please!! I just got done playing the new mod Zombiecraft and i went to log on to my original minecraft and it says i have invalid username and/or password even though ive entered the right things!
I'm on Windows XP, I've tried several different ways offered of solving similar problems I found on other users' posts, and even one or two from this post, but I don't seem to be having any luck. I've gone through the basic process of troubleshooting my computer (I'm by no means a technical novice) but I still can't get Minecraft to run properly. I have a completely up-to-date version of Minecraft (as of 3/10/2011) and have just finished confirming my drivers and Java are up to date (as of 3/10/2011) as well.
My problem is that every time I try to open Minecraft, it gives me the Minecraft Launcher. That seems to be working fine, and as I login it doesn't appear to have any problems - for a few seconds. After it shows the "Mojang Specifications" icon and text, it enters a black screen. For me, this used to mean that it was loading the main menu, but now (this first occurred about 3-4 days ago) it just stops doing anything for minutes, even hours (I left it up and came back later) at a time. Once I try clicking (or sometimes I don't and it will automatically happen) my computer informs me that Minecraft is not responding. When I click again (this won't happen on its own, I have to click the computer screen or press the keyboard) it turns a light grey color, turning my mouse into a loading icon when I scroll over. If I try exiting out (otherwise it runs indefinitely, as far as I know) it gives me this message:
Java(TM) Platform SE binary
Java(TM) Platform SE binary is not responding
If you close the program, you might lose information.
>Close the program
>Wait for the program to respond
If I wait, it just continues to say "Not Responding" in the top left corner and making a "loading" icon when I scroll over. If I exit, it gives me this message:
Java(TM) Platform SE binary
Java(TM) Platform SE binary is not responding
Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...
Then it eventually closes out on its own, or I close it out manually.
This is the first time this has ever happened, and I'm not sure what to do now, since nothing seems to be working. I tried reinstalling Minecraft completely, but even that seems not to have worked. I'd be grateful if anyone has ever encountered such a problem before and knows of some way to help me out of this situation. I must also say that I've never installed a mod, and have a completely un-touched version of Minecraft backed up on a jump drive that I keep unplugged. I used that when I completely reinstalled Minecraft, but to no avail. As I said before, I am now lost as to what to do next.
