I haven't bought Minecraft yet , but I find this very important to know before I buy it.
I must buy it on my slow , laggy laptop. If I buy it on my laptop, If I send over Minecraft to another computer using an USB cable, will it work correctly? This computer I want to send it over to DOSEN'T have internet. Will it work? :huh.gif:
If you copy the .minecraft folder, you can play offline.
Every time i play minecraft, it crashes within 10 minutes, is it because i have a crappy graphics card??
(ATI display adapter(0x6997))
or something else?

i'm a bit confused but im just going to clarify some things.
to copy the game over if you're not going to download a new client, you will need to go to start and type in search box:
%appdata% (if you're using a windows XP click run then type it in)
Then you need to copy the folder called .minecraft to your other computer.
then the rest is simple, just copy your minecraft launcher (default name is minecraft.exe) to your new computer then run it and you should be able to play.
also when you buy minecraft, you upgrade you ACCOUNT to premium. you don't buy the actual game itself. so like I said above. just login minecraft on your new computer and you should be able to play normally
oh shoot i double posted gahh i thought it would automaticly merge it to me post above >_< ahh im so sorry :C
Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post in, but I have suddenly begun having a "saving chunks" problem. I would be fighting mobs at night when suddenly the screen would go brown and say "saving chunks," then crash. I have tried playing only in peaceful mode (worked for a minute, then same thing happened), removed Yogsbox 1.2.1, installed Yogsbox 1.2 (no luck), removed Yogsbox completely, deleted minecraft, downloaded again (newest version of minecraft),and tried making a new world. I was able to play for about two minutes before the saving chunks problem happened again (brand new minecraft, no mods.) This only started happening yesterday, and has caused my games to go into a loop (world will load for about a second and a half, then problem occurs, effectively trapping my game), preventing me from playing Minecraft at all. If anyone knows what I should do, or if there is a thread that deals with this that I have missed, please let me know? Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
Is it possible to change the direction where Minecraft automatically installs? Because my C: plate is not that big and it causes lags from time to time, I even died because of that...
Also, to point out, the Search link in first post is broken, gives 404 Error xD
i THINK you can right click the download hyperlink thing and click download to...
Don't get be wrong, I love helping people. But there should really be a sticky telling people to make sure they have the latest java environment before they post... >.<
I have no sound when i load minecraft. I've eliminated all mods, I've downloaded new minecraft, and still I have no sound whatsoever in minecraft. Even the menu button click sound isn't there. What do I do?
Has anyone in the uk got a phone that i can send my verification code to for minecraft? Im purchasing the full game but only got a house phone. Please respond
I haven't updated minecraft in a while, because I didn't want to lose the mods I had installed. Now, I no longer need them, and am going to update. Do I need to uninstall them before I update to prevent problems, or will it do that on it's own?

I'm sorry but this is a topic for creative help. I will not help you with the full version of the game.
I'm still relatively new to the world of Minecraft but I was wanting to ask about downloading. I can download Minecraft just fine and play just fine, my problem lies with saving Minecraft into my computer. There are settings that only allow me to run Minecraft on my computer but not save it. The error I get tells me that the publisher could not be verified. How can I verify the publisher so that I can save Minecraft to my computer?
Hi, I just bought minecraft a few days ago, and I have been playing the vanilla version. I want to go ahead and play different mods, but there isn't a mod option in the main screen. Where it supposed to say "Mods and Texture Packs", mine just says "Texture Packs". Does anyone know how to fix this, or does that mean I have to purchase something else extra.
