My Computer Specs:
AMD Athlon II X2 215 Processor 2.70 ghz
4.00GB Ram
64 Bit Operating System
eMachine
and i used to lag with fast max fps and tiny render distance now i can play on fancy/high and balanced
I have found that using mcpatcher.exe and setting the memory usage from 750ish (default) to something useful like 2048 (2 gigs of ram) and then just maxing out whatever settings i like and using custom skins like the Albion pack for 64x64 textures allows meto use both fancy and far and all other options i feel like. (NOTE: I do also have Minecraft's priority on high)

Im gonna tell you this as an IT nerd ive specialized in computers in highschool for three years dont buy an alien ware they are waaaaayyyy to overpriced you can build your own pretty easily for a third of the price and it would probably be a hell of alot better than an alien ware :smile.gif:
