Hello i lost all my world.

played only in browser version and i cant figure out how to get them back :sad.gif:

help me please

It was fine for the first month or two of the 1.1 update. But then, I started the world, it was super laggy. So I looked out the window, and saw MOBS EVERYWHERE. But that was just the start. A few minutes after that, it went to the dirt background screen, and said nothing except for "Saving Chunks", which it froze and i had to CTRL ALT DELETE out of it. It happened a few more times, and then my comp screwed it up. My laptop's battery is ruined so that if it isn't plugged in, it dies. It happened once, and it was fine. A few more times, no problem. But, after these "Saving Chunks" errors showed up, when my comp died, the world disappeared. This is the result.

I don't need a world fixed, I usually fix my own worlds when they get screwed.

I would just like to say though and drop a friendly praise:

You're doing a good thing here dude, keep up the excellent work. MineCraft needs more people like you in the community, and at least someone gives a damn about the people. I look forward to seeing great things from you. I even believe if I can't fix any future problems with my worlds, I may come to you for aid if necessary.

Worldshrugged: I do not believe there is a way to determine seed just from visual cues. Sorry.

QuickTip: Anyone looking for their world seeds, Google "MC seed finder" or something like that. There's a website that if you browse for your world and select it, it will tell you the seed.

When i updated my Minecraft to version 1.2.3 the save of the world disappeard...

Only mod was TMI.

Hi, I just sent you my world file, named something like "Bye bye, free time", and LITERALLY five minutes later i figured out how to fix it. Sorry to waste time... :-/

My world is a mess. I believe I may have a bad chunk (ugly pillar in the sky thats resets every time I log in/out), and now my inventory shows up, but the world is "black".

If you fix it, I would appreciate my inventory. If that is not possible, I would appreciate possibly just righting down what little I probably had, and I can take care of that.

My world is gone from the list of Minecraft worlds, but it's still on my saves... the problem is I had just worked on a snow cottage for days on wich I had animals and wheat farming, some resources and stuff... so I would deeply apreciate if you could get it back to work!

Edit.: Hey! I know I should have done this before, but after I've done more searching and found your help page that explains how to fix these bugs I managed to fix my level.dat and now it's back again!

Hey Voordal! I wanted to know, since you don't make mention of it in the original post, can you fix a world that has no hostile mob spawning (apart from spawners). The game is on hard, so it isn't a problem of it being on peaceful. Thanks!
