Hi, i really like this world, there is a hole about 1 or 2 chunks behind my house, and when i get near it, i start to lag , also, the seed changed, the original seed is -7491633817553931116

also, there is a chest inside the big room in my house that has some mod stuff i don't use anymore, it would be nice if you could delete it

Chublu: Fixed the chunks and the seed. I didnt see anything out of order as far as the chests go, though O_o

Ok voordal, I used a recovery software to pull out some files that I believe are from my old world and put them together. Can you check to see if any files are missing?

Mattdragon: Unfortunately there are a number of actual map files missing from the region folder, usually theres at least 6+, but here is only one. And of that one, its pretty heavily corrupted.

Well, thats ok. I guess I should just give up at this point. I was probably going to create a new map when 1.8 comes out anyway.

My wonderful son decided to hit the blue shiny power button and it appears that the game no longer shows up. Anyway I could get a fix?? Your time is much appreciated.

SpecialK: Sounds like some mods that havent been updated or installed still have items in your game. This can be fixed though. Just post it up.

I having constant problems with my world. They mostly consist of
great big holes in the world, and also sounds failing, and
blocks & doors etc not doing anything when you activate or
remove or add them.

Would you be able to fix this please?

sound failing? that happend to me before, it happens do more than just minecraft. it takes ALOT of work to fix and i might remember how, if its just minecraft i cant help you. but if all your things on videogames/videos are sounding weird/scrunched up or something i can probably help you! :biggrin.gif:

Hi,

No it's just minecraft that it happens on. It's part of the same
problem as the big holes in world, as the sound issue is sometimes
present when that occurs, as well as doors etc working, but not
animating. ie you open a door, you hear the sound, nothing appears
to have changed but u can walk through a seemingly closed door.
Obviously clipping issues with all of it, though I'm not sure
if the sound is related.

Neon3001: I checked out the world, and couldn't find any specific issues with it. I'd like you to try a few things before we dig a little deeper.

Make sure your java is up to date at version 6.26.

Try doing a Force Update of minecraft. Keep in mind that this will delete your mods, you if you have any you dont want to reinstall, make a backup.

I downloaded the Minecraft Demo. and loved the game. so i chose to buy the Beta and get a discount when it is released.

I started playing the game. Enjoying every second. and building my mining operations and my huge cloud castle. everything my so smooth and fun...

Today. I loged into the game. and decided to delete my (Demo) saved world...

By mistake... I deleted my Original world...

Now kind sirs, is there a solution to my issue... or should i just shoot my self ?

Every time i remember how much it took me to get all those blocks to the top of the mountain i start crying lol

Looks like my game is broken again, a quick fix would be appreciated! Thanks mate.

Bassim: Unfortunately, if you deleted it from the game, and its not still in your /saves folder, it's pretty much gone. That's why they put the confirmation in the game that says "If you delete this it will be gone forever" =/

Oh well, I started a new world anyway, This time i can build a bigger cave and bigger mining operations and most of all learn from my previous mistakes :smile.gif:
