hey voordal im hoping you can help me without me having to upload. my problem is that i removed a mod and then broke a chest with one of the items from the removed mod. and now i get black screen right after loading. i was hoping you could tell me how i can move the current location of my player. obviously not in the game but through data. i had this same issue on my personal server and just deleted the player.dat but i dont see anything like that for ssp



Nvm i went to your website which provided me with just the help i needed. luckily i had a backup with the missing mod still installed. a simple copy and paste of world file and some lava fixed everything. if you are reading this and are getting ready to post a problem then go to the website first. your fix may already be there and theres no waiting

Andy: I checked out the map and couldn't see anything glaringly wrong with it. What do you mean by "It doesnt work" when you try to run it on your server?

I'm probably going to come across as a complete idiot by posting this, but I accidently deleted my minecraft world thinking I had it backed up somewhere on my computer. Well, I didn't. Can anything be done or is it gone for good?

Through the minecraft application by going to singleplayer and deleting it from there.

Nope. I already looked there.

unfortunately if its not there and not in the recycling bin theres not really much you can do as far as Im aware, outside of trying recovery software

Recovry software? Hmm...where would I find/download something like that?

Could some1 do something for me? I have a map that won't read on my minecraft, even thoguh I had an extra downlaod link for myself that worked.

I need some1 to download the map and see if it read on their minecraft. If it does I need some1 to tell me the coordinates where you are so I can find Clock Town (It's based on Zelda: MM).

If the map reads but you don't spawn in Clock Town tell me.

If it doesn't read at all just tlel me and I'll try to find Clcok Town on my own.

passafist: It looks like you're missing the level.dat file, which is why it's not showing up. Any idea why that file might be missing?

No idea at all. Would the naming a new map the same as the crashed one still work in this case or would I have to jsut remake the world?

Did you create the seed with a specific name or let it randomly generate?

Okay I took a look at the files that you have available for download on the map thread... it looks like a number of map files in the region folder are missing. There has to be a minimum of 4, and usually more with anything else.. and there's only two. Of those two, there are no buildings on there so... It looks like those files were moved/deleted before your most recent upload.

If you can't find those missing files anywhere, you may be looking at starting over, unfortunately.

I kinda figured that. I seriously have no idea what happened though. I have backups and everything for it can all thoguhs files dissappeared. Could of been my freakin' brother who doesn't pay attention to where he savesor deletes stuff to puters...

Either way, thx. I was wanting to remake it anyways but was too far into it. Not I can remake it and add some redstone contraptions I've made.

All your backups are missing as well?
