can you do multiplayer maps?

i have a problem with minecraft, any worlds i generate or load dont get the level.dat or level old .dat generated, could you fix my main world or my minecraft if possible?

Jaiden: I'm not sure why it wouldn't make a level.dat, since that's required for it to work... But you're welcome to post what you have and I'll see what I can do. I'd suggest redownloading minecraft and force updating to make sure its working correctly.

While playing on my world, I found a rather strange block in a small lake. I use the original Minecraft textures, due to some mods I have. Well, long story short, I mined the block and the screen went completely white. After a few seconds, Minecraft crashed. I can start up Minecraft fine, even play on other worlds I have saved, but whenever I try to open the world that I crashed on, I see my hot key bar for a few seconds, until the screen progresses to a "Saving Chunks" screen. After waiting there, the screen transitions into a black screen, and the only way to get out is to close Minecraft. Again, I can play perfectly on other worlds, it's just that specific one that is causing me trouble. Can you please take a look at it? Hi, I followed the How to Fix section on your website to fix my map not showing up in the world loader (even though the file is still there) and I moved the spawn and player, but when I try to save the changes, MCEdit freezes. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please fix this for me, my laptop crashed on me when I was playing it and now it wont show up in the single player menu. It is still in the save folder though.

One strange thing: All the water around my place is frozen, but it wasn't before. Is this a common side effect?

I've got a strange problem. I spawned into my map right next to what appears to be a chunk that started at level 64 on the Z axis but I cannot investigate further because I can't move at all or access inventory.

Dana: I've been tooling around with it to try and figure out why it crashes on load for you, but not for me. But I'm finding a -lot- of chests that cause me to crash. So I'm going to remove those chests, run the map through the normal hoops, and perhaps that will resolve your issue regardless. I'll have an upload later today.

Just got my fixed map. I really appreciate your work, voordal.

-A small description of your problem: I have a server where my world will overload the console and eat up ram to 100%. It's just that one version of this world, and I can run every other world just fine, no lag whatsoever. But when I run it up, it says it's using 200,000 KB, and the total amount of processes equal 350,000 KB, give or take. I have a 3GB ram computer, and it's acting like it has 1 GB of ram with that ONE map. I can load maps with 31 MBs, but now with 10 MBs.
