well I run minecraft, I've extracted the fix and tried placing in the saves folder, tried doing none of that and it won't work.

if it helps at all, windows 7 32 bit

Hrm. I double checked and downloaded that and it worked fine as 1.5...

Are you making sure that you drop it into your saves folder so it isnt like .minecraft/saves/world3/greenfixed?

I'm currently running 1.5_01 and it didn't seem to have any effect on people's missing worlds.

voordal, I'm absolutely not sure what happened. After going AFK to collect from my mob grinder, something terrible happened. I climbed back up my ladders and my house was DESTROYED. Almost my entire living room was destroyed, and most of my cabin was gone as well. The resource that seemed to disappear was wood. I don't know if that affects anything, but could you please fix it. Thank you.

NOTE: I downloaded 1.5_01, and it did nothing for my broken world.

I took a look at those saves, and unfortunately that is more of a... environmental problem than a world corruption problem.

From what I've been reading on the forums, what probably happened was lightning (with 1.5) hit some wood and lit it all on fire.. Anything that isnt missing isnt something that can burn (like the wood steps)

I think you're only option really is to just replace the wood blocks =/
