ok now how do i get it back into my minecraft?

Just drop the folder in the zip into your /saves/ folder

ok i put it in zipped and it doesn't work! and i unzipped it and it STILL didn't work anything i did wrong?

Also, of all the odd places, there is an underground room with grass.. and a wolf spawned there. So I left you there with some bones. =D

Also, you might want to make sure your minecraft is up to date (1.4_01) before playing it/

thank you =D yeah, I've had that map since I think September or October, very old alpha map.
yes minecraft is up to date. that may be why it didn't appear too since when it updated all the files were inaccessible

Go to minecraft.net and get the newest minecraft.exe launcher.. it should handle the rest in theory

EDIT: Thanks man it works perfectly! Only problem is that I had a huge waterfall off the end of the hallway and it got deleted D: Not your fault though, it was my laptop's for dying :/ Thanks a lot dude I owe you big time. This should get stickied :biggrin.gif:

It may at some point. It would certainly reduce the number of "amg world poof" posts that pop up every day. Hopefully my website that I'm working on (in my sig!) will start propagating on google soon so if people just search 'world recovery' or something, they can get help without relying on someone to post on a forum.
