Waterboy: I'm assuming you're running windows. The minecraft saves should be in...
For XP: C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Application Data\.minecraft\saves
For Vista/7: C:\Users\Appdata\.minecraft\saves
or possibly C:\Users\Appdata\roaming\.minecraft\saves
For XP, the Application Data folder MIGHT be hidden, so you can either enable viewing hidden files, or just type it in the explorer bar at the top to reveal it.
JMerricken: I'll take a look as soon as I can get to it.

Did your world disappear from minecraft? Is it corrupt? Lags? Can't move? "Saving Chunks" Crash? Crashes when you open chests? It can be saved!

Hutch: Fixed! It was a combination of bad chunks + corruption, but I believe I've fixed those. I saw a stone house and some big tower deals. http://www.mediafire.com/?ct8z3guuu9vs6tg
Waterboy: I actually need the entire save, including the level.dat and region folder. if you can just toss the entire save folder into a zip file and upload that, that'll be what I need.

/waterboy/region/ And the four mcr files in there.
Is that what you have? Or are they all in one folder?

It's such a mess i can't even begin to explain it, i have one folder where the alpha stores my first 2 saves, and then only recently i've located the save folder with my data in it, but no launcher, i hate vista.
EDIT: Was everything in place? I had built the outline of a mob grinder in the sky, a wooden house, an obsidian farm, and an underground quarry.
EDIT 2: So anyways, if everything seems alright, where do i put these files to make them show up on my launcher? Because as of now it still doesn't show up when i click the single player world menu.
Hrrm. I got the one you sent to 'work' but its like.. its an untouched world thats been explored a little.
I'm trying to think of what else there might be to find it. Maybe its in another save folder or something?

Alright, that might've been the wrong link, i checked the data size and this is the largest save file of them all, so this is a sure bet to be the correct save file.
Did... did you JUST get hit by a creeper when it crashed? >.>

Restore it from the zip I sent again, and as soon as it loads, run in and put out that netherrack fire. That should save it.

It should look like this; in the saves folder is your world. Lets call it Waterboy.
So there should be:
/waterboy/level.dat
/waterboy/level.dat_old
/waterboy/session.lock
and then
/waterboy/region/ And the four mcr files in there.
Is that what you have? Or are they all in one folder?
