Hey guys. I'm kind of new to MC, in terms of multiplayer/server setup etc.
My friend just got MC so I created a world and he connected to it via LAN. Just because I'm not sure what would happen, we had him put all of his stuff in a chest before he d/c'd. Of course when he reconnects via LAN, everything is all good. However, since we will no longer be living next door (college semester's over), I was wondering if anyone knew if I could make it so the single player world is accessible via server connection (preferably through use of logmein himachi or something else moderately easy to use).
Only reason I want to maintain this world (instead of making a new world and hosting it on a server) is because we've already done a ton of mining and it's a pretty sweet area. Let me know if this question doesn't make sense at all or is too vague
--Thanks
EDIT: Also, if anyone wants to just refer me to another thread with this question being answered, please do so!
