My son and I recently figured out how to be able to play LAN games with each other but we have found something that I have searched and found nothing about. When we are finished for the day, I save but it doesn't seem to save all of his progress. Tonight for example he was about 10 levels behind where he was and the thing that really bummed him out was his diamond pick axe he was so proud of getting the other day was gone. Is there a proper procedure that needs to be done to save this? I haven't had any issues but I am the PC that launches the game.
Some of the pertinent information recommended to include:
Both Windows PC - one Windows 7 and the other is Vista OS. Both boxes at Java 7/55. Both unmodified.

Thanks in advance.
I think u run minecraft with open to LAN option.
If u PC have e nave CPU Power and RAM i wood suggest that u tray to run an "Vanilla Server" instate the Minecraft only version. (Best way is all time to use a PC only for Server hosting, if u 1 PC over us them as Server)
