The launcher gives the error "Downloading: https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/launcher.pack.lzma
Exception: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect"
I followed the thread found here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1776452-minecraft-16-dev-launcher-problem/page__st__80 in it's entirety, and tried all the solutions given with no luck. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
