Yesterday night, I decided to change my skin. After I changed my skin I tried to login to minecraft. The play button was grayed out, I didn't worry because I thought it was updating my skin. So I came back a few minutes later, the button was still grayed out. So I decided to go to bed and thought it would be fixed in the morning. Then I come back in the morning and it still won't work, so I start to google solutions. I just now made this account to post this because I can't find a fix to this problem!!!
The things I have tried are:
1. Re-installing Java
2. Deleting .minecraft folder.
3. Re-Downloading minecraft launcher.
4. Making a new profile.
It's not logging you in, in the bottom right corner it says "Welcome Guest, please login" I think there might be a bigger problem then your launcher, try in get in contact with Mojang Support. There is a small chance that your password may have been taken in the recent heartbleed bug thing http://heartbleed.com/ It got fixed a while back but info could have been take. BUT, It might just be a simple account problem Mojang should be able to fix. So again, try and get in touch with them.
