Okay so i haven't played in a while but i have the new launcher, when i first started up minecraft it didn't autopatch and it left me in 1.7.4. After deleting my ".minecraft" folder and re-installing, it updated to 1.7.9 but there is no minecraft realms button below multiplayer. I'm not running any mods nor am i using a 3rd party launcher.
