I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but my friend has a laptop. When they get to the menu, where they are about to get to the place where you pick single player or multiplayer the screen goes blank. They really want to play. Any ideas on what is wrong?

We need to see what is in your Development Console, which can be found on the second tab of the launcher. To copy all text from the Development Console, right click on any empty space and press "Copy All Text". The text will now be copied to the clipboard for further use.
