So, today i decided to clean up my computer and during that i deleted the .minecraft file and re install it. so i deleted the folder and i went to the site to redownload it but it wont work... all that it downloads is the launcher. when i launch it, the normal white screen thing.

There is a problem with your Java installation. You are mixing incompatible versions of the Java libraries.
I'd recommend uninstalling any Java's you have (using control panel add/remove programs), then cleaning any remnants from C:\Program Files\java (or whereever it was installed), then installing the latest version of Java.
