Hey everyone, I am in the process of making my first custom map but I'm encountering some performence issues. I have a pretty decent computer and can run normal worlds at 60+ fps but in certain areas in my map it drops to below 20. I was curious if you could identify the source of the problem so i could remove it. I know I can't post a map in such a state and don't know what about what makes Minecraft drop in fps, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I think it may have something to do with entities, but I have been using MCEdit a lot so it may have to do with world corruption/bad chunks.

I test the world with some tools like "Minecraft-Region-Fixer" and its look all OK.
I play a little bit the map and see at the coordinates u tell us:
- They are many Signs (a known bug that minecraft lag a little with many signs.)
- Maybe some massive Mob spawn. (not really many but maybe enough with the signs to lag.)
On my PC the FPS never drop under 35. Always around 50-38 FPS. (its totally OK)

Thanks for checking it out. It is relieving to know that there is no chunk corruption, I was really worried about that. I guess my machine just doesn't handle the signs as well as other computers do. Thanks again.

Dont worry it sounds like a Minor-fixxer upper Sometimes to many mobs can Cause lag in the worlds and so can fire so Watch how much you use of those things
