Whenever I use the "Open to LAN" while on the same LAN as my friend they're unable to see my world in their server list even though it says it's looking for LAN hosts. Both of our machines are running Windows 8.1, fully updated Java, and Minecraft 1.7.9.
Does anyone have a tutorial for how to do this or any advice for how to make it work?
