"Pixel Format Not Accelerated"

When trying to start up minecraft I get an error "Pixel Format Not Accelerated". I have updated my graphics card drivers, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

If anyone could point me in the proper direction, it'd be much appreciated.

Your graphics card is not supported for Windows 8.1, you can try to downgrade to windows 8 or grab a new graphics card (which can support windows 8.1)
