So, after some trouble with my Minecraft from this one situation I won't get into detail about, I reinstalled Java, my .minecraft and everything to do with MC, and I just decided to make a profile 1.7.5 instead of 1.7.9, because of servers and such. And this does happen when I try to run 1.7.9 as well. It ends up failing to download the files. Here's the Dev Console stuff WARNING: THIS IS VERY LONG.

I have Comodo Firewall and Ad-Aware Antivirus installed on my PC, yes, but it still does this when I disable them. And I have tried launching it through AMD Gaming Evolved, to see if that would do anything, but nothing, it just opens the normal Minecraft launcher. :/

Ok, I'm just throwing out ideas here but do you think it would be possible to maybe add the version in yourself? Like instead of downloading it through the launcher just find the 1.7.9 version folder online (I'll give you a copy of mine if you need it) and putting it in your versions folder and then attempting to launch it.

Handing out minecrafts files breaks the T&C's mojang have and is not allowed on this forum sorry.

Hi webrosc, thanks for the reply.

It's kind of strange. Last night it had went through trying to download, then it said "Failed-Network Error", and now it tries to load a page instead of downloading. (I'm using Google Chrome, by the way.) And it will say "Unable to display the web page" or something along those lines. I have tried resetting my router, and restarting my PC. And what's strange is it worked fine downloading MC files before, like I had downloaded 1.6.4 perfectly fine,(Yeah, mods on 1.6.4. And 1.6 maps.) and this never happened until Saturday..

Never mind, actually. It all of a sudden started working. I ran a scan with Malwarebytes and removed some stuff, and that must have fixed it. Thanks for your help, everyone! Everyone have some Diamonds.
