Minecraft Forums

This is something that has just recently started to happen. I wiped my Minecraft folder the other day, and now every single time I join a server,Minecraft completely freezes and does not unfreeze. I have tried EVERYTHING. In fact, here's a list of what I tried that did not work.

- Uninstalling and re-installing Java

- Allocating more memory to Minecraft

- Wiping the .minecraft folder

- Restarting my computer

- Not using mods; using a completely vanilla Minecraft client

To make it so it may be easier to get help, I'll provide the errors I get in the console after I force close Minecraft.

I really need help! I literally cannot play on a single server right now. But the stupid thing is, is that single-player works fine.

Well I was able to fix the problem. However, I received no help from anyone on the forums, and will not post how I fixed the problem.

Well I believe the reason you didn't get any help from us is the fact that you had optifine somehow installed even though you statet that you weren't using any mods....
Anyways you could just be constructive here because maybe some poor lad has the same problem and finds your post ... without an answer...
We all try to help in this forum but some problems may be completely new to people and can't just be fixed what so ever...
