I have been having server side issues with 1.7.X and offline in 1.7.7 and higher. All the blocks turn into void texture and items do not i can only see liquid signs and tools. Can anyone help me?
Sometimes things do weird things. What this process does is just flushes your files to before you downloaded minecraft, and then by updating you get the most recent possible. Try it out, report back your findings.

- Move Screenshots & Maps to Desktop
- Delete rest of contents
- Restart launcher.
