Hello,
The title is more or less my entire question, but I have a fast computers with multiple monitors so I was curious if there was any way with xbox controllers (I have the wireless PC adapter) to either play on the local multiplayer or using a server setup, as my school's internet is extremely finicky with being able to set up my own server. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
nope, minecraft will pause if the screen looses focus unless the crafting menu is open, just try to alt tab to another window and see what minecraft does.
So unless you can work out a way to have 2 separate mouse pointers on screen at once working totally independent to each other you can only run more than one instance where one is idling while the other is doing things.
You could go and chat with the schools IT department and see if they can arrange an after school class or something where you can set up a server and have friends use it, sort of like a project.
Otherwise while in school try doing school work instead of playing minecraft
Ah, thanks webrosc I figured this was the case, but it seemed like such a wonderful dream in my mind that I had to ask haha. I will have to move on from this dream I suppose!
And don't worry, I do pay attention on occasion
