Ok. So I have this one minecraft world where i have built a house and all that but after i updated from 1.7.4 to 1.7.9 i noticed that one chunk ca. 10 blocks from my house was not loaded.
The chunk (16 by 16 block square) sems to have simply vanished. I tried saveing and quitting then going back in but it still wont load and when i try to go into it, it wont allow me its like a wall.
I need help figuring out how to get it back, i dont want to play with a giant gaping hole by my house.
Please reply if you know ANYTHING about this, the smallest info will help

1. Disable Advanced OpenGL in Video Settings.
2. Turn your render distance down. Sometimes, when it is high chunks load slower because your client has to work with loading an additional amount at the same time.
To reload chunks in any moment press F3 and A at the same time.

Sounds like an defect chunk. u can try MC-Edit (http://www.mcedit.net/) and his "Repair Region" function.
Or u upload u world (as an compress file lik ZIP,RAR or ACE) to an filehoster and we fix it for u.

MC-Edit refuses to work on my computer and i (as a MC Forums noob) do not know how to upload
