Hi everyone. I've played Minecraft for a long time, but never actually participated in the forums, so this is a new account (mostly) just for this post.
I recently built a new rig (can provide specs and other info if needed), and since completion I have had problems with Minecraft. Whenever I load a chunk while walking (new chunk or simply unloaded already-rendered chunk), I get a freeze that can last anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds, dropping me to 0 FPS. I have tried things such as: clean graphics driver installs; updating my driver; using an older, trusted driver; and fiddling with Minecraft's process settings, among other things.
I'm interested in any solutions you guys might be able to provide. Like I said, I can provide any more info if it is needed.
Thanks in advance!
