So recently i upgraded my mac from 10.6.8 all the way up to 10.7.5 and my fps is caping and barley goes above 60. When i was in 10.6.8 i could record videos (for youtube) getting between 40-80 fps depending and not recording 120+ fps (usually around 160 was normal). I turned off v-sync of and even put my settings all to the lowest i could and still i get caped fps and usually a average of 29. Heres my specs
2 GB 667 MHz DDr2 Ram
2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
X1600 128 MB graphics card
20.1 inch screen 1680 x 1050
PLEASE HELP ME
P.S
Please don't hate on me for having a mac. Im getting a pc soon but i want to fix this so i can record in till i can get a pc
Make sure you updated your Java when you did your update -
Although you are meeting the minimum system requirements - the older OS version may have been able to handle the game better.
if I recall there were java issues with 10.7.5 - I could be wrong .. just make sure you have updated to the latest version.
I currently have 10.9 with a mac book pro - and don't have any current issues.
