I just installed the latest version of java and then went to start up minecraft snapshot 14w11b and whenever i clicked play the green bar went across the launcher but nothing happened. I was playing on it just last night. Whenever it tries to launch it gives me the error message in the development console:

You need to reinstall Java.
First, go to the Programs and Features in Control Panel (Add and Remove Programs on XP). Uninstall everything that says Java in the name. Then, go to http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp to re-install Java.
