At the moment, I am unable to join my brothers LAN world, yet I am able to join friend servers that aren't over the LAN. When I try to connect to him, the loading screen hangs for about 20-30 seconds before getting a "java.net.connectexception no further information" error screen. He also cannot see any LAN worlds I host. I have allowed the game through my firewall, opened up the TPC and UPD ports 25565, I have Minecraft set to run as administrator, and I am allowing it through Windows Defender, as well as Java. I am using release version 1.7.9, and he is too. Any information on how to fix this would be appreciated.
