I have come here today to ask for help on my Minecraft. When I open Minecraft, and click "Play", after about 30 seconds to a minute, it crashes. Here is the Crash Report. I really hope someone can help me on this because I really want to get back to playing.
~Side Note: I've already tried clicking edit Profile and making the JVM Arguements and making it 2Gs, and I've tried going to Control Panel and making Java's Runtime Parameters 2048Ms (2Gs).
~And I Have Windows 8

GL Caps: Using GL 1.3 multitexturing.
Using framebuffer objects because OpenGL 3.0 is supported and separate blending is supported.
Anisotropic filtering is supported and maximum anisotropy is 16.
Shaders are available because OpenGL 2.1 is supported.
Is Modded: Probably not. Jar signature remains and client brand is untouched.

Profiler Position: N/A (disabled)
Vec3 Pool Size: 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) allocated, 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) used
Anisotropic Filtering: On (2)
As it says, try using a lower resolution texture pack.
The bottleneck is probably not Java heap (you aren't getting an OutOfMemoryException) ,and increasing the heap size is probably making the problem worse because you are making less memory available for other things.
Run the launcher.
Edit the Profile that you use.
Hit "Open Game Dir"
double click on the file "options" or "options.txt" depending upon whether you can see the extension or not.
Find the line that starts with "resourcePacks:" and delete that line.
Save the file.
Run minecraft.
