I've been looking for help everywhere, and nothing I do seems to work, first of all, whenever I run minecraft in the new launcher, it crashes and says it cannot run minecraft. Before that I was unistalling Java 6 Update 23 as I already had installed Java 7 and when I tried running minecraft, it couldn't run. So I unistalled Java 7, now having no installed Java, I installed the latest version of Java, tried to run minecraft and it still would not work. So now, I tried going back to system restore but its not functioning properly in my system for what ever reaason. So then I tried checking if my Java worked and indeed it did, and so I restarted my laptop seeing if that would do anything, maybe it had to reboot to actually work but nope, still not the case! This all happened because in a topic a retired staff posted about helping the fps rate get better, it said to delete old Java versions and leave the latest, I did that and now EVERYTHING is screwed up. I'm not really the one to be good with computers, so can anyone help me, I'm really lost!
Thank you guys for your help but I've fixed it, here's how I did it if anyone had the same situation as me, When I had allocated 2GB of Ram to minecraft, I later after that wanted to boost my fps, so I updated Java, now that Java was installed it didn't update my minecraft, and as Java usually puts in 1G of Ram to minecraft, it didn't respond to 2G and crashed, I just changed the JVM Argument to "-Xmx1G", thanks for the help though guys, love you all!
Oh yeah that had happened to me. When you try to allocate more RAM to MC with the code "-Xmx_G" If it's anymore than 1 you need a different code. I don't know what code that is but you do need a different one.

Retired StaffAfter that, you need to post the contents of the Development Console so that we can see how it isn't working.
