I have exhausted all I know.

I am running Windows 8 on a touchscreen laptop.

I have AVG 2014 and AVG PC Tune-Up

I am added Minecraft to the windows firewall allowable apps.

I have disabled the antivirus.

I see the server I created on my own home network working for about 2 seconds when I click on multiplayer and then the red x covers it.

My other computers can play with each other on our home network, but this computer is blocked.

I keep getting this error!

java.net.connectexception connection refused connect

I have looked all over the internet, is there someone who can walk me through how to fix this crap!
