Minecraft Forums

I recently got a new computer and installed minecraft on it. Once I get past the Mojang screen (which takes me to the Singleplayer and Multiplayer screen), it freezes as soon as I click on one. Even if i click on Options or any other buttons, it'll freeze and stay frozen until I close minecraft. I've searched for answers but I can't seem to find any. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled both minecraft and java but the same results occur. Is anybody able to help me?

Has nobody experienced this before? ): I contacted Mojang to see if they had any idea as to what the issue was but they are yet to respond

It's definitely not the issue. Unfortunately, my minecraft still freezes when I click on any button on the screen.

I copied the minecraft file on my other computer (which works) onto a USB and attempted to play it on the new computer and the same issue occurred. I'm beginning to think the game is just incompatible with the computer ):
