My girlfriend and I are new to Minecraft and would like to play together in the same world, with no one else. I have setup a server and it works.... for me. When she clicks on it, she gets an error message saying "Outdated server - Im still on 1.7.8"
I thought 1.7.8 was the lastest version. Turns out she has 14w11b. Everytime she redownloads the game, that is what is downloaded. How can we fix this?
Go to "edit profile" at the bottom of the launcher, then click on "use version". There should be a list of minecraft versions, so go to the top of the list and select 1.7.8. After that, click "save profile" and you are done. Now, when she starts the game, it should be 1.7.8.
