I've recently joined a server which I like a lot, however I'm having some weird issues(this only seems to happen on this particular server for me and I'm the only one with this issue).
I'll try to explain it as best I can.
Sometimes(happens very often) after I use a teleport such as /home, a nether portal or a respawn I get some sort of lagspike. My actions don't show on my Minecraft client, they do show up on the server though.
Example: I get the lagspike in spawn, I use /home, nothing happens on my screen but I do show up at my home location for others. Same goes for opening chests, I can click them to open, I don't see opened chests on my screen, someone else sees me open the chests though..
I also do not see anyone around me move, etc.. I can however break and place blocks(although they drop nothing when I break them)
Often I get an error after short while of being in the lagspike:
and usually after a few minutes all my actions and of those around me will register on my client.

Only one question, have u the same problem on singelplayer?!?
The server have to send u a lot of chunkinformation after u jump from one place to a other.
And some times the server a overrun with this request and minecraft give the timeout error.
(Special if home PC use as an server for more people as the Internet connection or the PC can Handel.

I don't have this problem on singleplayer. It also seems I'm the only player on this server to have this particular problem...

Maybe its possible that something slows u Internet connection down.
(The server got u Position Information but u PC don't get the Chunk-files in time.)
- Have u test u Internet connection? (with an SpeedTest, that will show u the Up and Download for u connection.)
- To be sure u can delete u Minecraft (Simplest go in u Minecraft folder and there in the Version folder and delete the folder for u Minecraft Version. Somthing like "1.7.4". Minecraft will redownload the fiels at next time u hit Play.)

I'm using R3D.Craft at the moment. I got the same problems with a fully clean install as well though..
