Let me start off by saying I'm not trying to do cracked; I have a legitimate copy of Minecraft. What I am trying to do is login to Minecraft so as that I can play on servers. The problem, however, is that I cannot connect to the Minecraft Login Servers at the time I want to do so. (brief explanation: Usung an Ubuntu flash drive on a school computer) Is there some way to use the real launcher, or some other launcher in order for servers to let me in, despite the fact that I myself cannot log in?

If the server can't verify that someone with a legitimate account is playing, why should it let you play online? I know you do have a legitimate account, but this would have massive potential for abuse by people who don't.

I thought that the server itself would go to the Minecraft servers to check if my account is legit
